Traces of the Spirit AR is an augmented-reality application developed by the art collective strikeWare to supplement Oletha DeVane's exhibition "Traces of the Spirit" on view at the Baltimore Museum of Art from June 20 - October 20, 2019.
The application invites guests of the exhibition to view the work as though submerged in ocean waters while a slaving ship passes overhead.
